Blankets: Growing A Little Love Shop
Today was one of those days that are just so fulfilling. It started off with a full solo grocery run with the twins, which is a win in my book! I have been ordering my groceries and then picking them up, but we've been so busy I haven't gotten organized enough to actually do it. So this morning I packed up the kiddos, popped Annie in the cart, Sybelle in the sling, and got all of our groceries without anyone crying! That might sound like some regular old thing, but in the life of a twin mom, it's pretty great!
Then we had a nap, ate some food, completely cleaned the house, and then Aunty Meghan came to play. We went for a stroll to the nature park across the street, which is always so beautiful, and took some photos with our Violet Falsa and Teal Falsa. I absolutely LOVE how they turned out! It was the most perfect day and the sky off the water was gorgeous.
Then we went to the park behind our house and played on the swings for forever. The girls were so content to be outside and my sister and I just chatted about life and the future and wonderful things. Then we grabbed a slurpee and walked home!
To top it all off, I tried making vegan portobello mushroom burgers for the first time and they were BOMB. Like so good. I want to eat them every day please. Maybe I'll share the recipe I used sometime soon! Once I perfect it, of course. I'm not much of a cook, so a really yummy vegan meal is always a win!
I haven't blogged like this in a while, but it was just such a fun day I had to write it all down. It was a really normal day, but I had a smile on my face the whole time and that's just the kind of day that I want to have for the rest of my life. A simple life full of love and joy.
Take good care, lovelies!
