3 Ingredient Kale Chips!

So... Kale. I used to run away from that word. And particularly that vegetable. What do you even do with kale? Eat it in salads? (Sadly, I hate salads.) So I feel ya when you think "blech, nextttt." But hear me out. My lovely older sister, Meghan, who rarely eats fruits of vegetables actually likes these!!!! So I count that as a success. My step sister, Jenn, has been telling me to post these on here since I first made her try them a month or so ago (she also was a kale non-believer - Hi Jenn :) ). Props go to my friend Heather for making these for me one wine night!

So here we go. All you need is:

  • Kale
  • Oil
  • Salt

Yup, three ingredients. This shiz is easier than making popcorn, I tell ya. And hey, ya can't beat that extra nutrients and greens!

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
  2. Lay bite sized pieces of kale out on a baking sheet
  3. Sprinkle with olive oil
  4. Then salt
  5. Pop 'em in the oven for 6 minutes - be really careful, because they will burn fast if you forget about them!

ENJOY!! This is my go to snack lately when I'm craving french fries (which is always) but want to skip the deep fryer and add a little green into my diet.
